The DBP23 is a split core current transformer designed for installation retro-fit applications such as existing electrical installations where removal of busbars/cable lugs prevent installation of standard current transformers. They are made to the highest standards and come with a 5A secondary. We mainly stock the 5A range but upon request can supply 1A secondary if required. The window aperture is 20x30mm.
Split-core current transformers provide current output that is directly proportional to the input current. These transformers are safely and easily installed over existing electrical power lines without disconnecting lines or interrupting service. Split-core current transformers are an economical means to measure amperage over a broad range of services in a variety of applications. Six models CTs ranging from 100A to 400A are available.
NOTE : All CT's have hinged terminal covers and are supplied with push-in fixing feet and busbar fixing clamps
